AIEF was established in 2008 in response to community demand from Indigenous families who choose to enrol their children in boarding schools.

Bringing together the government and private sector, AIEF provides scholarship funding for Indigenous students to complete Year 12 or tertiary studies, with career support to help them make a successful transition to employment.

AIEF has grown from one scholarship student in 2008, to now supporting over 1,000 young Indigenous Australians from over 400 communities from every state and territory across Australia.

**About the Role**

You will work within the Pathways team to support students and alumni through one-on-one support, group facilitation, and stakeholder engagement
- Manage your own caseload, facilitating career sessions with students and program participants
- Maintain meaningful relationships with students, providing relevant information and guidance relating to post-graduating pathways
- Maintain professional and productive relationships with educational partners, mentors, and stakeholders
- Ensure accurate and thorough records keeping and database management pertaining to your caseload
- Assist in the development of the program reports and resources
- Some travel is required to facilitate program sessions in school environments

**What you Bring**
- Experience working with youth or school students is essential
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Effective data entry and case note skills to ensure clear and concise database management
- Understanding employment services or pathways would be highly regarded
- Outgoing and fun attitude with a passion for youth, employment, or student support

Police Check, Working with Children Check, and COVID-19 two vaccinations is a requirement for this role due to NSW Health Guidelines.
