Culturally Responsive Youth Justice Advisor
About the Role:This role involves providing advice and support to Youth Justice Caseworkers in the case management of Aboriginal Young People in a culturally responsive manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and build collaborative community networks and partnerships to improve the effectiveness of Youth Justice interventions and relationships.
- Provide expert advice on culturally responsive practice to caseworkers and other stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with Aboriginal communities to ensure that youth justice services are tailored to their needs.
- A deep understanding of Aboriginal cultures and histories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proven ability to work effectively in cross-cultural settings.
- A strong commitment to social justice and reconciliation.
