**About the Assignment**

Tasks include:

- Work closely with data owners and users to ensure that data is accurate, complete, and meets business requirements.
- Develop and implement data quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Conduct data audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for data governance improvements.
- Ensure that data is stored securely, and that access is granted only to authorised individuals.
- Collaborate with Information System team to implement and maintain data management tools and technologies.
- Provide training and support to data users and stakeholders on data management processes and tools.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to data quality, compliance, and usage.
- Assist with conducting data profiling and analysis to identify trends and patterns.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to implement data-related projects.
- Assist with training and educating end-users on reporting, and data management best practices and policies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and data providers to support data acquisition and integration.

**About You**

Essential experience required for this position includes:

- Strong experience in data management, data governance, or related field
- Familiarity with data management concepts and tools, including databases, data warehousing, Database Transformation Tool (DBT) experience would be advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with SQL, data modelling, and data analysis tools
- Experience with processes to automate reports

**Mandatory Tickets / Quals / Certs / Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, or a related field
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, TIBCO Spotfire, Tableau, or Power BI
- Experience with SQL, data modelling, and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of data management and governance best practices, including data quality standards, data privacy, and security policies and regulations.
