We're seeking a skilled and motivated Business Analyst for our clients' Enterprise Delivery Team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to key applications-based projects, including planning for enhancements to Risk & Incident Management and Learning Management Systems, and supporting vendor evaluations for a new Rostering System.

Following the successful completion of these activities, the Business Analyst will move into the execution phases of one or more of these projects in the new year.

About the Role

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful outcomes across multiple initiatives. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to gather, analyse, and document requirements; identify benefits and opportunities for process improvements; and support procurement and planning activities as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate workshops, conduct data analysis (Excel), gather and document business requirements, and support benefits identification and realisation.
  • Translate complex concepts into clear, accessible language for stakeholders and manage expectations effectively.
  • Conduct "as-is" process capture and design improved "to-be" processes.
  • Apply lean process improvement to identify and reduce waste in workflows.
  • Work within an agile environment (without necessarily implementing a formal Agile methodology).
  • Support project establishment and closure activities including:
  • Problem definition and business case development
  • Budget identification
  • Operational handover support and documentation
  • Assist with vendor evaluation activities for procurement (RFP/RFQ/RFT).
  • Lead planning activities for initiatives as required, including where a dedicated PM is not present.
