About The Role
Our client is a reputable, Australian-owned company with over 50 years of experience in providing innovative security and emergency products. Reporting into the State Manager, you'll be supported with the resources you need to succeed, including a phone, laptop, and vehicle allowance. This is an autonomous role where you'll manage your own time and drive results, supported by a performance-based commission structure.
As the Business Development Manager for Vic/Tas/SA, you'll be part of a dynamic sales team, responsible for raising brand awareness, identifying new products and securing NEW BUSINESS
You will identify growth opportunities, foster strategic partnerships, and cultivate strong client relationships, effectively communicating the value of our client's products and services.

About You
Minimum 4 years of client-facing, B2B experience, with a diverse range of customers
Proven track record in business development, account management and sales
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport
Strong analytical skills to identify and address client needs effectively
Results-oriented, with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Self-motivated with strong time management and organisational abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software

Key Responsibilities
Conduct market research to target potential clients and develop a strategic sales approach
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through networking and industry events
Work with internal teams to develop customized solutions that address client needs
Deliver product demonstrations and compelling presentations to decision-makers
Negotiate and close deals, achieving mutually beneficial outcomes
Nurture relationships with existing clients, delivering exceptional service and support
Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive advantage
