Regional Manager, Service Operations

**Vestas have released a notable position for an experienced and results driven Regional Manager of Service Operations based in Queensland or New South Wales to manage our service sites across the region.**

**EVP APC > Service APAC > Service AU/NZ**

The Regional Service Manager is responsible for the regional strategy and Service delivery across the two countries. He/She maintains an organisation that is fit to meet customer demands and contracted scope of Services in a highly efficient, safe, compliant way while delivering on the internal KPI ´s and PPI ´s as well as on committed budgets.

The Regional Service Manager is in charge of employees and organisational development, advancing our work methods and safety and quality culture. He/She further supports the Service VP in providing counselling regarding market outlook, risks, and recommendations based on daily business and KPI development.

Vestas Australia & New Zealand (part of Vestas Asia Pacific) is a responsible for the Sales, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout the country. We strive to be the No. 1 performing Business Unit within Vestas and we aim to make Vestas the best place to work

**Responsibilities**
- P&L responsible for the site and for the service delivery including people management and complex logistics
- Ensure continuous development with customers addressing high order issues and ensuring full transparency
- Direct line management responsibility of local field operations team.
- Deliver optimized operation of Customer's assets encompassing Quality, HSE, and production performance
- Deliver operational performance to meet requirements of forecast and planning.
- Assessing security, operations, and maintenance activities, and employee development
- Provide to field management strategic decisions, and ensure full commitment of operational team
- Maximise productivity by increasing output and sales and / or reduce costs, through effective use of KPI's
- Support the Service Director in the development of strategy for the Area

**Qualifications**
- Masters degree or bachelor or relevant on the job training
- Strong commercial and engineering understanding
- 10 years professional track record
- Successfully operative for 10 or more years in a leadership position
