**Job Description**:
**What you will be doing**:
- Driving rate strategy development and implementation to achieve property and company goals
- Managing the distribution of hotel inventory to ensure maximum occupancy of the hotel by maintaining accurate rooms inventory control systems
- Maximising all revenue, including but not limited to Rooms, Food and Beverage, Catering and Events and all other revenue avenues.
- Leading regular Revenue meetings with management detailing hotel revenue strategies and driving departments to be accountable for their contribution to the results
- Managing all aspects of competitor intelligence; pricing; management of room inventory and yield; distribution channels, market segment mix; acceptance/denial of major group bookings
- Preparing Budgets & Business Plans, Reporting and actively participating in Owners Meetings
**Qualifications**:
**Your experience and skills include**:
- Previous luxury experience in a similar leadership position
- Exceptional understanding of Revenue Management principles
- Proven working Knowledge of GDS, revenue management systems and all distribution systems
- Sales knowledge and an understanding of market segments within the Australian hotel sector
- Knowledge of accounts and budgeting along with the ability to compile facts/figures and analyse information that involves data manipulation or interpretation to arrive at logical conclusions
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills with an ability to think outside the box to find creative and innovative solutions
- Ability to influence with presentation of data and strategies
- Previous experience using Opera and EzRMS will be highly regarded
