**Purpose of the Role**

The Finance Systems Analyst supports the optimization, maintenance, and enhancement of finance systems. Responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, configuring system settings, providing user support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet the needs of the finance department and the organization.

**Position Accountabilities**

The Finance Systems Analyst, working within the Corporate Finance team's procedures, provides the following:

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into system changes or new functionality.
- Collaborate with finance users and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide system usage guidance.
- Ensure systems are configured to automate reporting based on business needs.
- Configure and maintain system settings, parameters, and security permissions.
- Provide end-user support, troubleshoot issues, answer inquiries, and deliver training.
- Work with IT and vendors to manage system upgrades and integration.
- Develop and maintain system documentation for training and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in finance systems projects, including implementations, improvements, and data migrations.
- Stay informed about trends and best practices in finance systems and technology.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with teams across the business, providing consultative support to achieve maximum value and impact.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
**Essential**:

- 2 to 3 years in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in systems, accounting, finance, business administration, or related field preferred
- Advanced Excel skills preferred
- Experience with full cycle of financial model delivery
- Understanding of financial performance management cycles
- Ability to meet critical deadlines
- Power BI reporting experience preferred
- Willingness to learn new technology and work flexibly
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

**Preferred**:

- Experience in Banking, Finance & Insurance, or Technology industry with knowledge of regulatory, commercial, technology, and operational trends
- TM1 experience
