Shield Solutions is a niche IT services company specialising in the secure disposal, data destruction, recycling and remarketing of end-of-life IT assets and consumer electronics.

We are currently looking to fill a position on our IT Asset Processing team. The position will be based out of our Arndell Park (NSW) IT & e-waste processing facility.

This is a casual role (casual rate of pay), starting at a minimum 20 hours per week.

As member of the team, you will perform receipting, testing and data collection / data entry tasks as part of our IT asset decommissioning process.

Typical tasks will include:
Unloading IT assets to/from a collection vehicle.

Data entry & data collection

Testing devices and identifying faults or cosmetic imperfections.

Sanitise data of devices.

Basic IT hardware maintenance and repair, such as replacement of RAM and hard drives.

Stacking, wrapping and moving pallets using a hand pallet jack.

General warehouse & logistics tasks.

This job requires an element of manual handling and the ability to lift moderately heavy IT equipment (computers, servers etc).

The successful applicant will be employed initially on a casual basis, with permanency considered later.

To be suitable you MUST:
Have a high attention to detail.

Efficient and able to keep a clean workspace.

Basic IT Hardware Knowledge

Ability to work unsupervised.

Pay: $30.09 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
