What You Will Achieve

You'll have a key role to play in an organization that has people at its heart. You will be responsible for delivering and improving HR processes and programs through continuous improvement efforts, technology solutions and direct coaching. You will guide execution of new and/or annual programs, such as performance management, employee relations, training and development etc. You will provide the necessary tools and processes to assist managers to better manage their workforce and drive behavior for colleagues to be self-sufficient.

Internally known as the Site People Experience Lead, this role will form part of our Site Leadership Team in Melbourne. Your advanced knowledge of the HR domain and comprehensive knowledge of other disciplines will enable you to lead complex projects across the Melbourne site. Your ability to develop and manage plans will facilitate in achieving objectives, interpreting internal and external business challenges, and recommending best practices for improvements. While managing complex project environments, you will be able to anticipate and troubleshoot roadblocks and influence teams to achieve targets for the division.

How You Will Achieve It
- Develop ideas, manage plans to achieve objectives, lead or co-lead complex projects across the division
- Represent the HR function in the business or function leadership forum and participate in the development of strategies and plan of action
- Support the annual performance management and compensation processes in alignment with country practices
- Support project management, facilitation and problem-solving activities, along with displaying strong process skills
- Support the execution of cultural talent management and related programs throughout the organization
- Convey and drive the need for standardization and consistency of approach to HR across divisions
- Escalate issues requiring investigation, and/or discipline to the relevant teams
- Support reorganization and restructuring activities working with key stakeholders
- Participate in Union negotiations

**Qualifications**:
Must-Have
- Bachelor's Degree in HR discipline or relevant field
- 7+ years of demonstrated experience in HR technical proficiencies and core HR competencies with experience in coaching, employee development and driving process improvements
- Proven experience in business partnering roles
- Thorough knowledge of local labor laws applicable
- Demonstrated experience working with unionized sites
- Proven track record of successful Change Management and ability to execute initiatives in a timely manner with high quality
- Strong business acumen, project management skills, facilitation and complex problem-solving skills
- Extremely strong leadership, integration, negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Nice-to-Have
- Master's degree
- HR management experience in Organizational Development, Human Resource Management or related field
