Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Asset Manager to join our team.
This role involves the daily management of large-scale solar plants in Australia, ensuring best practices for safety, quality, and environmental performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the renewable energy sector and be able to optimize asset performance while complying with all relevant contractual agreements.
The Asset Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of up to 5 sites, each with a capacity of approximately 1000MW. This will involve maximizing total returns through the analysis of system efficiencies and identifying opportunities for improved performance. Additionally, the successful candidate will establish effective relationships with EPC & O&M contractors to ensure safe asset performance and operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Asset Management operations
Manage day-to-day operations of the Asset Management organization
Review and manage SPVs contracts
Monitor and control financial budgets
Performance review of sites and analysis of potential optimization projects
Regular review of site performance on monitoring platform
Requirements:
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of the Australian and global renewables market
Understanding of key contracts to manage and awareness of critical stakeholders
Technical knowledge of large-scale solar and battery assets
Strong process orientation and technical IT skills
Experience:
5 years' experience in a similar role preferably in the solar market
Personal/Work Skills:
Team working skills
Problem-solving and proactive attitude
Detailed-oriented and well-organized
Able to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
Education and Qualifications:
Degree level in a subject applicable in the renewable industry
