Renewable Energy Asset Finance Specialist

This role offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the successful delivery of financial aspects for renewable energy assets.

As a key member of the finance team, you will be involved in various renewable asset investments, funds, and renewable energy projects.

  • Regular Financial Reporting: Manage and review KPI variance reports to ensure timely and accurate financial information.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the financial management of development, construction, and operating-stage renewable energy assets.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial reports with support from advisors.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting: Conduct cash flow forecasting and funding requirement calculations to ensure efficient financial planning.
  • External Administration: Manage external administrators and advisors to ensure statutory filings are met, including audited financials, tax returns, activity statements, and FBT.
  • Bank Account Management: Manage bank accounts and payment processes to maintain financial stability.
  • Financial Compliance: Assist with financial compliance matters, such as AFSL requirements.
Qualifications
  • Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) or nearing completion of the program.
  • Familiarity with the renewable energy sector, or a genuine interest in it.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • An interest in implementing new technologies and leveraging digital applications.
