**Job Description**:
**Who are you?**

This role is perfect for a creative, strategic, and experienced content strategist and creator who wants to contribute to generational change in Australia's mental health through preventative mental health initiatives.

You'll play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining content across Smiling Mind's channels, platforms, and campaigns to achieve marketing and communications objectives.

This role, reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, will work with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate projects and initiatives to create relevant and engaging content across Smiling Mind's marketing and communications activities and channels with a focus on brand, digital marketing, social media paid and organic and our website.

You will play a strategic role in ensuring Smiling Mind's story is captured across multiple content formats to deliver inspiring stories to key stakeholders. Your work will ensure Smiling Mind is increasingly recognised as a sector leader in mental health promotion and prevention initiatives focused on children and families.

**Responsibilities of the role**:

- Develop a diverse and engaging content calendar and finish content projects within defined deadlines and budget
- Lead the production of well-researched and audience focused marketing and communications content across key channels such as our blog, website, direct mail, social media and digital and print in various formats (print, digital, video, animation, graphic etc.)
- Support the rollout of marketing campaigns through the production, scheduling, and implementation of required content across channels
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan, design, develop and launch effective and engaging marketing and communications content across channels.
- Ensure content is optimised for SEO and aligned to Smiling Mind's brand and strategic direction, ensuring content maximises Smiling Mind's online visibility and supports organisational objectives
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators for content health and develop and implement strategies for continual improvement
- Increase brand recognition and positive sentiment across key audiences and stakeholders by developing content that consistently aligns with our strategic narrative and themed key messages
- Develop project plans and associated documentation to coordinate key initiatives from briefing to completion, on time and within budget.
- Act as a custodian of the Smiling Mind brand
- Develop creative briefs and strategies for content creation and moderation across digital and social channels and platforms

**Qualifications**:
**You've got**:

- Research skills with the ability to draw key insights and understand information quickly to create unique and compelling content
- Communication skills with the ability to tell stories. Journalism and/or copywriting experience will be highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver projects and tasks within timelines and budget and coordinate cross functional teams to meet objectives.
- Develop briefs and collate and respond to feedback
- Ability to coordinate external agencies working across all stages of content development
