Business Partner Role Overview
The People and Culture Business Partner plays a vital role in aligning the organization's objectives with employee engagement and management team goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert advice and support to management and staff on operational people and culture matters, including recruitment, policy implementation, and contract interpretation.
Support generalist people and culture functions with execution of various activities.
Coordinate performance review processes for the organization.
Raise requisitions and purchase orders in accordance with established practices.
Participate in wider people and culture projects, taking responsibility and accountability for assigned tasks.
Carry out additional tasks within your skill set as assigned by the Coordinator, People and Culture Operations.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field, coupled with demonstrated industry experience.
Ability to provide guidance and support to management on resolving complex disciplinary and industrial relations matters.
Capacity to interpret and implement policies and contracts effectively.
Understanding of Local Government employment legislation is preferred.
Strong consultation skills and experience working with executives.
