**The role**:

**Your every day**:
Supported by the wider corporate services team, you will be successful in executing our people initiatives as well as driving the HR function for our NSW business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to become a trusted advisor and truly partner with a dedicated client group to drive positive changes and support a rapidly growing business.
**Your duties will include but will not be limited to**:
- Implementing HR initiatives that drive and maintain an overall culture of excellent employee relations and communication
- Coaching and mentoring leaders across the NSW business
- Providing advice and initiatives to deliver best practice HR, tailored to business requirements
- Proactive gathering of data from appropriate sources to drive decision making
- Maintaining an emphasis on continuous improvement & sharing this with other Symal businesses
- Collaborating with hiring managers and other stakeholders within NSW as well as other members of the group
Who are you?
- Relevant experience in a HR role within a fast-paced environment; preferably within a construction company, though this is not mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to help encourage / influence leaders on important decisions
- Proven ability to work within a large scale workforce
- Forward thinker, empathetic and a clear communicator
- Knowledge of EBAs / Awards within the construction industry, ideally, but again, not mandatory
- Relevant Bachelors Degree or equivalent
