About the Opportunity
At Uniting, we believe every child deserves the best start in life. As our Early Steps Facilitator, you'll play a key role in delivering an innovative project that supports services, develops future educators and improves outcomes for children and families.
In this role, you will:
Coordinate the planning and delivery of the Early Steps Project, ensuring it aligns with Uniting's goals and vision
Oversee program operations, including service recruitment and student placements with our university partner
Serve as the main liaison for services, sector experts and other key stakeholders
Build strong team relationships across Early Learning and the wider organisation
Report on project progress, engagement and outcomes
Manage resources effectively while maintaining a safe, inclusive and supportive environment
What you'll bring:
Diploma in Children Services
5+ years' experience working with children under 12 and a strong understanding of child development and protection
Demonstrated project coordination, facilitation and leadership skills
Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder engagement abilities
Confidence in problem-solving, decision-making and managing complex organisational relationships
Strong knowledge of Work Health & Safety and risk management practices
Current Working With Children Check, driver's licence and computer literacy
A passion for social change and commitment to Uniting's vision and values
