An immediate opportunity exists for a Contracts Specialist within our Mining and Metals business unit to be part of the exciting Kalgoorlie Smelter Renewal (KSR) project in Perth, WA. The Project to undertake the brownfields upgrades to its existing Kalgoorlie Smelter facility.

**What You'll Be Doing**:
As the Contracts Specialist, your role will involve formation and administration of all types of commitments when required by workload, complexity or other factors. Other role requirements include developing and monitoring project work-hour estimates, and mastering contracts forms.

Key responsibilities will include:

- The formation, award and administration of project contract commitments through established policies and procedures.
- Undertake formation and administration of commitments when required
- Preparation and maintenance of project bidder lists, ensuring supporting input is received from all contracts functions and other functional groups.

**What You're Good At**:
You will have broad experience in the formation, negotiation and award of all types of contracts, as well as experience in developing complex contract types, fee arrangements, terms and conditions.

Your working knowledge of change management procedures pertaining to Requests for Information (RFIs), change notices, change orders, amendments, and claims and dispute resolution will set you up for success.

You will be skilled in working and communicating effectively with all levels of project functional groups, as well as experienced in supervising personnel, workload distribution and execution of work.
