Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team. As part of our diverse workforce, you will contribute to delivering meaningful lifestyle activities and building a supportive community for residents.

You will be responsible for leading and participating in the delivery of activities, ensuring they are engaging and meaningful.

Additional responsibilities include preparing thorough and accurate lifestyle assessments of residents, documenting resident participation and engagement, managing and coaching the lifestyle team, supporting the orientation and training of new team members and volunteers, developing and maintaining strong relationships with residents, families, and volunteers, and facilitating opportunities for residents to engage with the broader community.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated understanding of leisure and lifestyle programming and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
  • Previous experience in a Lifestyle Assistant/Coordinator position (or similar), including dementia care
  • Experience using a computerized care management system (desirable) and outstanding computer literacy skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
