As a skilled and ambitious legal professional, you will work primarily across trade and trading matters.
About This Role
You will work with Principal Lawyers Kelly Dickson and Paul Kirton, and a highly skilled and collaborative team.
Gain hands-on experience and benefit from ongoing mentorship to support your professional development.
This role is dynamic, where no two days are ever the same. You will work across a broad range of areas including:
Competition Law and ACCC issues.
Consumer Law, including advertising, labelling, warranties, product safety, and recalls.
Trading terms and documents.
Privacy and data protection.
Personal Property Securities (PPS).
Consumer Credit.
Anti-Money Laundering / Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML-CTF).
Intellectual Property and Trademark matters, where the team requires additional support.
Our clients come from various sectors, including manufacturing, retail, agriculture, food, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
About You
A minimum of 2 years PQE.
Demonstrated experience in Commercial and Trade Law.
Exposure to Intellectual Property and Trademarks (desirable).
Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
Ability to think quickly and deliver clear, commercial, and tailored advice.
Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging directly with clients.
A commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
