As the CO2 Plant Operator, you will be responsible to operate the plant and equipment safely, reliably and efficiently. You will monitor the parameters of the plant, keep the Facility Manager informed and perform operations/maintenance tasks that you are qualified and authorized to perform.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Abide by the OHS Act and Regulations; Take reasonable care for his or her own health and safety as well as with others
Liaise with Raw Gas and Utilities Supplier (E.g. AGL) to ensure safe, efficient and reliable operation of the CO2 Plant
Ensure safe, efficient and reliable operation of the plant
Promptly respond to plant interruptions and escalate issues to the Facility Manager, when necessary
Perform routine plant Maintenance works that he/she is trained and qualified to perform
Participate in investigation and root cause analysis of safety, quality and reliability issues and incidents
Complete training & qualification requirements as necessary
Support the Facility Manager to run the plant operations in accordance with the Air Liquide's & other relevant standards/regulations
Analyse parameters to pre-empt any problems that may prevent continuous production and propose necessary actions
Identify maintenance needs and propose necessary actions
Are you a MATCH?
Technical background with experience/skills in any of: electrical trades, instrumentation technician, automotive trades
Solid experience in process plant operations
Comfortable in using google suite and other reporting tools
Effective communication both written and verbal
Committed to safe work practices and display a safe-work mindset
Knowledge and awareness of plant site standards and
An interest and understanding of piping, valves, electrical & instrumentation and other plant equipment
Ability to work autonomously and manage competing demands
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions, safety rules, operating instructions and procedures from different sources
Willingness to respond to callout when required as the plant operates 24/7
