Job Title: Truck Driver/Concrete Batcher

Role Overview:

This role involves operating a concrete agitator truck, delivering high-quality product to customers in northwest Tasmania.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a concrete agitator truck to deliver concrete to customers
  • Complete a structured training program covering agitator operation, slump testing, and safe delivery
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete pre-start checks daily
  • Represent the organization professionally at all times on the road and on-site
  • Batching & Plant Operations
  • Support the operation of the batch plant when needed
  • Assist in material handling using a front-end loader (training provided if required)
  • Monitor product quality and help manage raw materials
  • Perform basic maintenance and contribute to plant housekeeping and safety
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a valid Heavy Rigid (HR) licence, have a keen interest in getting hands-on and learning the batching side of concrete production, possess a White Card, commit to a Monday to Friday schedule with rostered Saturday half-days and overtime, enjoy working in a team, be focused on safety and customer satisfaction, and be physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.

You must also be able to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to customers.
