Job Title

A Steam Plant Operator is required to join our team. This role is integral to the operation of critical steam and energy systems, contributing directly to our vision of a Safe, Stable, and Sustainable operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring the efficient, safe, and compliant operation of the Boilerhouse and associated equipment.
  • Executing daily operational duties related to boilers, steam turbines, and auxiliary plant systems.
  • Monitoring plant performance, conducting equipment isolations, commissioning tasks, and performing preventative maintenance.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping to support a clean, organised, and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated commitment to personal and team safety.
  • Possess current WH&S-endorsed Boiler Advanced and Turbine Operation certification.
  • Proven recent experience in operating boilers and steam turbines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with effective fault-finding capabilities.
  • Positive, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
