Operational Excellence Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Operational Excellence Leader to join our senior leadership team. As an Operational Excellence Leader, you will provide strategic direction and operational support in line with our objectives to optimize plant performance, implement capital projects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

About the Role:
  • Aid the Executive General Manager leading the Recovery & Stabilisation project with overall leadership support by ensuring the team is aligned, motivated, and focused on delivering outcomes.
  • Ensure the effective execution of the project's goals.
  • Align technical activities with key project milestones and sustainability goals, ensuring a seamless flow of operations, driving an increase in capacity and efficiency.
  • Propel strategic projects in the expansion of production capability, market offering, and enhance competitiveness.
  • Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of capital projects across the plant, ensuring alignment with company goals, timelines.
  • Monitor project performance to ensure cost-efficiency, safety, and timely delivery.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a technical leadership or advisory role, preferably within manufacturing, steel, or heavy industry sectors.
  • Strong background in operational optimization, capital project management, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams to identify and solve complex technical problems.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving operational efficiency, reducing downtime, and enhancing plant reliability.
  • A forward-thinking individual with the ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with business goals.
