The position also works with the wider sales and Partnerships teams to generate and share leads, along with providing market information and ensure internal collaboration opportunities are optimised.DAY TO DAY, THE ROLE WILL:Drive sales opportunities and secure revenue for Royal Randwick, Rosehill Gardens and other ATC venues through Race Day hospitality and business event products/opportunitiesDrive a culture of excellence in day-to-day operations, ensuring delivery of seamless service from the initial enquiryManage all required sales processes and administrative duties for salesActively seek and approach new clients, which will involve coordinating telemarketing and direct mail activitiesMaintain industry networks and keep abreast of current developmentsMaintain and monitor all aspects of Race Day sales operations at ATC venuesTHE RIGHT FITTo be successful in the role, the right fit will possess:Experience in new business generations via marketing and sales initiatives to increase hospitality salesExperience in account management role which involves identifying and assessing leads and business opportunities and securing profitable transactionsSound understanding of the process of developing new and innovative hospitality offerings from concept, design, pricing, market analysis including demographic targetsDemonstrated sales success in meeting and/or exceeding revenue targets ands KPI'sDemonstrated experience working in commercial venues within the hospitality, events, entertainment, tourism and/or leisure and recreation industryDemonstrated capability articulating and driving operational plans within a complex environmentIf you believe you are the right fit and possess and can demonstrate our values day to day, then come join us.
