Burger Urge is looking for an experienced Xero Bookkeeper who embraces change and actively contributes to shaping a positive workplace culture.

Are you passionate about finance and looking for a dynamic role in a thriving company? Burger Urge (BU) is on the hunt for a talented Bookkeeper to join our vibrant team. With 16 years of experience serving up delectable, sustainable burgers, we are dedicated to both our food and our people.

**Location**: New Farm

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and deliver weekly KPI reports.
- Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Complete weekly payroll administration.
- Review team errors and implement corrective actions.
- Complete statutory lodgements and month-end duties, including account reconciliations and P&L reviews.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and manage interrelated entity accounts.
- Analyze KPI results, purchasing behaviors, and identify concerning trends or potential fraud.
- Handle inquiries from internal and external stakeholders and perform ad-hoc tasks.
- Contribute to network benchmarking and site performance analysis.
- Assist with various administrative and financial activities as directed by the Finance Manager and CFO.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years accounting experience.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Proficiency in Xero is essential.
- Knowledge of Australian payroll laws and TANDA is ideal.
- Familiarity with state and federal statutory requirements.
- Advanced Excel skills.
