**About the job**

This is a Lead Data Solution Designer/ Consultant role responsible for delivering Enterprise Architecture and Solution Design for our Banking and Financial services clients.

**Key Skills & Experience**

At least 8 years of working experience working as a Solution Consultant in a Data Engineering space in a fast-paced environment and complex business setting.

**Technical capabilities**:
**Customer Centricity**: Engage internal customers and stakeholders to develop initial requests and ideas into real-world solutions and implementations. Focused on ascertaining the true underlying need and problem parameters. Iterate through solution options and communicate tradeoffs in business and end-user terms such as experience, quality, resiliency, timelines, and cost. Develop quick proofs as an effective tool to demonstrate solution concepts and feasibility.
- Experience in building and maintaining reliable and scalable ETL on big data platforms as well as experience working with varied forms of data infrastructure inclusive of AWS S3, Apache Hive on S3, Spark SQL
- Experience working with cloud big data platforms such as AWS GCP
- Experience in data warehousing inclusive of dimensional modelling concepts.
- Experience with ETL tools such as talent & data stage on cloud platforms.
- Substantial experience and deep knowledge of data modelling techniques, and relational and nonrelational databases.
- Experience in providing consulting services to clients towards the adoption of cloud-based technologies and implementation of cloud-based data platforms
- Expert knowledge of SQL, Strong programming background for data exploration/analysis, and solution prototyping capabilities
- Expertise in data modelling principles/methods including conceptual, logical & physical Data Models

**Business Understanding & Problem-Solving**

***Work with business users and client technical teams in defining the requirements and technical specifications for data transfer, ingestion, and transformation
- Strong understanding of business processes and/or functional areas in the financial services industry
- Ability to deconstruct business problems into key questions using design thinking principles

**Educational Qualification**:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent quantitative discipline.
