**About the Role**:
BHP's Value Engineering (VE) is a newly formed team, which is the coming together of a dedicated, innovative group focused on maximising value-adding opportunities across BHP by leveraging skills in the Technical Function to deliver incremental, step change and innovative solutions.

This is a Brisbane based role working Monday to Friday. Flexible work options will also be available. This role is being offered as a 12-month fixed term contract.

Key responsibilities in this role will include:

- Develop visualisations and analysis to solve business problems
- Document, explain and present analysis solutions
- Get opportunities to work on projects across BHP
- Build working relationships with the BHP data community

**About You**:

- Strong presentation and communication skills.

Other highly regarded skills include experience in:

- Mining, resource industry or equivalent heavy industries
- Engineering consulting and/or management consulting
- Agile teams
- Python, Snowflake or AWS
