Data Analyst Position
Position Overview:
The Data Analyst role is a key component of our organisation's data-driven decision making process. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing and interpreting complex data sets to identify trends and patterns, and develop data visualisations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:
Analyse large datasets to identify trends and patterns, and develop data visualisations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to design and implement data collection processes.
Develop and maintain databases and data management systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Design and implement predictive models to forecast business outcomes.
Skill Requirements:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Experience with machine learning and predictive modelling techniques.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will possess a degree in computer science, statistics, or a related field.
Experience with cloud-based data storage solutions such as Amazon S3 or Google Cloud Storage.
Highly regarded: knowledge of the heavy vehicle or transport industry.
Experience in real-time, high-volume transactional environments.
