**Tasks and Qualifications**:
**This is What You Will do in This Role**:
We have a new position for a motivated and experienced **Maintenance Manager **to join our supportive and friendly team.

You will be managing our new customer sites located **Northmead and Eastern Creek, NSW. **The role is permanent full time, providing leadership and guidance to our maintenance team consisting of industrial electricians and mechanical fitters providing 24/7 site support.

The team is servicing clients' equipment in accordance with project and service agreements, whilst also identifying opportunities for improvement in the manufacture or performance of systems and products. Adhering to and promoting safety standards at work is also a vital component of the role.

**What We are Looking For**:
You will take the lead in response to customer issues and ensure incidents and breakdowns are resolved within the contracted response time.

As a Maintenance Manager, you will:

- Ensure compliance with all Dematic safety regulations and sounds understanding of OHS&E requirements
- Manage and develop a multi skilled residential service team by setting clear goals and responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance an effective ongoing relationship with the customer
- Manage the work schedules and roster for the residential teams
- Developing a positive team culture and environment that generates a high level of personal accountability and high-performance work standards
- Deliver a plant reliability and maintenance schedule program to ensure continuous improvement and minimise downtime
- Ensure all staff comply with Dematic administrative requirements
- Provide regular staff usage reports and forecast work load to enable forward planning of resources
- Process and manage spare parts inventory, orders and any other administrative duties as required
- Identify and implement efficiency programs
- Operate within maintenance expenditure budget and control costs

To meet the requirements of the position, you will **enjoy a hands-on approach **and be **involved in the day-to-day operations **of the two sites.
- Engineering qualification or demonstrated industrial maintenance experience coming from a trades background
- Experienced in managing technical and trade qualified teams delivering maintenance services, including sound people management skills
- Several years experience working in a customer service environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, including ability to liaise with all levels of staff
- Well-developed multitasking, time management and prioritisation skills
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to see a task through to completion
- Excellent motivational skills and the ability to encourage and implement a progressive culture, with a commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction
- Integrated systems experience within a material handling environment an advantage
- Flexible to provide advice and assistance to team or customer outside of core business hours
