Technology People are partnering with
**APA Group**, an ASX top 40 firm to expand their Technology Team to meet the challenges of the future. APA own and/or operates a $21 billion portfolio of gas, electricity, solar and wind assets across Australia. Over the past decade, APA have supported and invested around $750m in renewable energy projects across Australia with more to come, the right people in the Technology Team are key to supporting the energy transformation.

As the Head of Strategy & Architecture you will be a key leader in shaping the future of the Energy Transition and taking the APA team on the journey to standardise, rationalise, modernise and innovate across the technology that underpins the entire business strategy.

This role will be responsible for Technologies key accountabilities including industry and market research, insights, product development, standards, methodologies, strategic sourcing and operating models.
- Leading the value proposition and execution of a plan for the technology strategy and architecture practice
- The ability to develop IT roadmaps, underpinning the business while reflecting the current status of the existing landscape and its ability to contribute to future state capabilities and digital platforms
- Proven leadership and the ability to lead a Strategy & Architecture Practice toward current best practice (methodologies, standards, reference models)
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to take the business on a transformation journey
- Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement through the implementation of change across business processes, systems and people
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and communication skills at all levels with the ability to influence, question and problem solve via a strategic framework
