We bring together the best minds in the industry to help our customers accelerate their businesses in a safe and scalable way, helping them lead their own industries.WHO YOU ARESystems Architect with a strong background in Service Provider and one or more of our key technical pillars: IP/MPLS/SR Networks, Optical, Automation & Security.
You will partner with our Account Managers and Executives in a pre-sales technical role, promoting and showcasing Cisco solutions.
You have industry knowledge and years of technology experience to aid in technical selling, explaining features and benefits to customers and crafting and configuring solutions and products to meet specific customer needs.You will gain access to the palette of Cisco technologies and applications in a variety of vertical markets.
In addition to technological proficiency and the ability for accelerated learning, you know the latest, and you have social, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills that evoke passion and confidence.REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:8+ years of networking and cybersecurity industry-related experience as well as Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in the technology area.Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent.3+ years of technical pre-sales experienceSolid experience with SP IP Transport Networks with underlying IP/MPLS or SR-MPLS or SRv6 technologiesWorking knowledge of SP Optical Transport Networks, Automation and Assurance solutionsAbility to deliver Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) to demonstrate the value of end-to-end solutionsParticipate in preparing tender documents and proposals, RFPs, RFIs.Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills.Ability to work effectively and chip in as a team member.Strong analytical skills: ability to assess and resolve a problem with an effective course of action.It would be Highly Regarded if you have.A strong multi-domain ability across Service Provider Infrastructure eco-systemCisco Expert Certifications (CCDE / CCIE) or similar is a plus but not required.Network Programming skillsWhy Cisco#WeAreCiscowhere every individual brings their unique skills and perspectives together to pursue our purpose of powering an inclusive future for all.Our passion is connection—we celebrate our employees' diverse set of backgrounds and focus on unlocking potential.
