Join Our Team as a Solutions Engineer

We are a global manufacturer who services multiple industries, the key industry for this role is to support the internal logistics market, specifically automated warehousing. You will be working alongside a quality team, in our modern facilities in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.

Are you passionate about engineering and eager to make a difference? We are looking for a dedicated Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic Sales department. As a Solutions Engineer, you will be the crucial link between our customers, ensuring technical excellence and strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support sales proposals and project realization.
  • Develop layouts, designs, technical advice, cost estimates, drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Process improvements via software packages such as Demo 3D and ClickUp.
  • Production design and planning for locally assembled products.
  • General project engineering tasks, including project management, supplier management, production schedules, customer support, cost management, and reviews.
  • Work closely with the service department to support installation activities.
  • Participate in internal and external technical meetings, training, and networking activities.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • Excellent project management and supervision skills.
  • Proficiency in drawing software such as AutoCAD and Inventor.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in a production manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with electrical and industrial control concepts.
  • Proven ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
