Leadership Opportunity in Higher Education
We are seeking a seasoned academic professional to fill the position of Associate Dean, Business discipline. The successful candidate will provide leadership and strategic direction for our business programs, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and quality standards.
The Associate Dean will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the delivery of courses at various campuses, as well as teaching higher education courses. Additionally, they will provide support to senior leaders in implementing an academic scholarship culture and maintain effective communication with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a leadership position, demonstrated ability to manage and work in a collegiate environment, and strong interpersonal communication skills. A doctoral qualification (AQF 10) or equivalent blend of qualification and experience is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Business discipline
Supervise and coordinate the delivery of courses at various campuses
Teach higher education courses
Support senior leaders in implementing an academic scholarship culture
Maintain effective communication with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership role
Demonstrated ability to manage and work in a collegiate environment
AQF 10 (doctoral) qualification or equivalent blend of qualification and experience
Highly developed interpersonal communication skills
