**About the client**

Privately owned Australian forwarder with national presence and international office locations. Office of 10 staff with national staff numbers of 20 and growing due to growth and expansion plans. General cargo and projects focused with strong exports and ideas for their future.

**About the role**

A strategic focused position on operational excellence by influencing each states teams in new and improved ideas and efficiencies. Building on already established procedures, your role will be to increase profitability through plans and roll outs to each states team delivered by you. Succession plans to move into a GM position and to find your successor.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Create strategies and roll out ideas for operational change
- National influencer focused role on how trams run and operator
- Implement and upgrade procedures and efficiencies, existing and new
- CI roll outs
- Stakeholder meetings and discussions at a senior level with management and clients alike

**Skills & Experience**
- Freight Forwarding background
- Import/Export operations background
- Management experience desirable
- Cargowise / CW1 exposure desirable
- Influencer skills and negotiation
