About the role CareSouth is seeking an experienced and compassionate Team
Leader to join our team in Wagga Wagga.
You will coordinate
the requirements of the team on a day-to-day basis, whilst ensuring
the provision of services and support to staff and young people are
in line with CareSouth's Practice Framework.
We are seeking a
positive and engaging leader who can demonstrate previous success
in dealing with a home care-based model within a Therapeutic
Framework Model of care.
About you We're looking for someone with: Demonstrate a commitment to the safety of children, young people and people with a disability.
Tertiary qualifications in Social Work/Welfare, Social Sciences, Disability or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience in a leadership capacity within the OOHC, Disability Services or Community Services sector.
Proven flexibility, adaptability and able to respond and adjust easily to change in work demands.
High level written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of the ongoing effects of injuries, trauma and/or neglect and abuse.
Proven effective interpersonal, conflict negotiation and resolution skills and to provide strong leadership under pressure.
Current NSW driver's licence (note that preferred applicants for the role will be requested to provide evidence of their driving history.
Willing to undergo a National Police Check and obtain a (NSW) Working with Children Check Clearance and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
