Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) is a national employment program led by Endeavour Foundation that empowers people with intellectual disability to prepare for, gain and sustain meaningful open employment.
It focuses on person-centred support, employer engagement, and creating lasting inclusion in the workforce.About the RoleAs a Career Development Advisor, you will drive inclusive employment outcomes by connecting people with intellectual disability to local job opportunities.
This is a front-line, target-driven role where you'll combine case management with proactive employer engagement to create sustainable employment matches that benefit both the individual and the business.You'll play a vital role in supporting our mission to make possibilities a reality—providing tailored support, career development planning, and a strong customer experience for both participants and employers.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild relationships with local employers and identify job opportunities through networking, cold calling, and business development.Work one-on-one with participants to understand goals, address barriers, and develop employment pathways.Match participants to suitable roles and support them through recruitment, placement, and post-placement care.Maintain accurate case notes and documentation aligned with contractual and organisational standards.Meet performance targets and KPIs related to placements, customer satisfaction, and business development.About YouExperience in employment services, recruitment, training, or community services.Proven success in a sales or target-driven environment.Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.Understanding of employer needs and the local labour market.Ability to work independently and in a dispersed team environment.Experience working with people with intellectual disability or other support needs (highly regarded).
