The Boards of the two clubs – the Supporters Club and the Surf Life Saving Club - are working together to plan and activate the next stages of the joint strategic plan that will see Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Supporters Club continue to develop.As the General Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the on-going successful and profitable hospitality operations (food, beverage, café, gaming, functions and events and membership) of Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Supporters Club.
The role is vital for the surf operations too.
Allocations of the profits from trading of the Supporters Club substantially fund the operations of the Surf Life Saving Club providing beach safety on this busy and prime stretch of coastline.
The timing is perfect.
Broadbeach continues to grow as a major destination for the Gold Coast.The new facilities have been carefully designed and constructed to cater for the expanding hospitality and surf operations of the Club.
The four-level construction provides seating for over 600 for meals and functions catering for up to 120, a dedicated ground level cafe, exceptional bar facilities overlooking the beach and parkland and a complementary gaming environment.Food and beverage operations are extensive with annual revenues in excess of $19 million and total revenues in excess of $23 million.
Gaming operations are strong and growing with the ground work completed for a continuing growth outlook.The General Manager will be responsible for continuing the wonderful culture of success and excellence already created in this award-winning club.
Surf Life Saving Club membership currently stands at over 850 with 165 active patrolling members and 39,000 social members at the Supporters Club.The successful candidate will possess all the skills to manage a high-volume, fast-paced hospitality operation with significant food, beverage, gaming, café and event facilities.
You'll be familiar with the club environment and have the skills and understanding to liaise successfully with and report to a Board of Directors.
