Our client is seeking a Collections Officer to join their fast-paced environment, Good base salary plus commissions.

This is a busy collections role that requires a proactive positive attitude and a strong work ethic with an opportunity for future growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing collections and legal recommendations.

Key responsibilities in the role include:

- Negotiating payments of outstanding debts and arranging full payment or suitable payment plans in a respectful manner
- Discuss legal consequences and support in preparation of legal documentation
- Exceptional Customer service in inbound and outbound call management
- Have strong attention to detail for making accurate file notes and updating the database
- Adhere to Privacy Act, ACCC and Legislative requirements
- Adhere to internal policy, system processes and external regulatory requirements

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

- Ability to always remain professional, respectful, and cooperative
- A team player with a positive mindset
- An ability to build rapport and manage positive relationships
- Previous Collections and/or Legal experience is required

You will enjoy solving problems, helping people, strong communication, and have a can-do attitude.
