The Youth and Young Adult team is responsible for strengthening current, emerging and future ministry practice in youth and young adult ministry within an assigned region.
We are currently seeking a values-driven Team Coordinator to support the Youth & Young Adults team in the delivery of events, functions and projects, with a focus on co-ordination and administration.
You will successfully
- Provide a full range of administrative support to the Youth and Young Adults team
- Engage effectively with relevant internal and external stakeholders in the management of these functions and projects
- Coordinate and administer team functions and projects through Asana, or a system with similar capabilities
- Provide support to wider events team, as required
- Respond to any general enquires in relation the Youth & Young Adults department
You will have
- Knowledge and experience in youth and young adult's ministry of The Salvation Army.
- Comprehensive understanding of The Salvation Army culture
- Previous experience in an administration role
- Experience in project coordination would be highly regarded
- Relevant child protection requirements are obtained for example Working with children check
- A willingness to undergo a National Police Check
