The RoleAn opportunity has become available for a Consumer Feedback Support Officer to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating confidently and clearly with consumer feedback providers
- Assist patients and their family and carers to understand the overall and individual GCHHS Consumer Feedback Management processes
- Participate as a member of Consumer Feedback Service and Clinical Governance Service meetings
- Provide education and training on consumer feedback management to personnel in positions where patient contact is required

About you
**To be successful in this position you will require**:

- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent part time (22.8 hrs p.f.)
- Base salary ranging from $45.81 - $50.46 per hour

The Consumer Feedback Service (CFS) provides a specialist service within Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS) to patients/consumers, their families and carers and other advocates who wish to provide feedback about the delivery of care experience. The CFS provides a single point of access, coordination and analysis of consumer complaints and feedback on services provided by the GCHHS, ensuring that high quality responses are provided within set timeframes.
