Requirements
5+ years of data engineering experience, with at least 3 years in Snowflake implementation.
Strong knowledge of Snowflake's latest features (Snowpark, marketplace, dynamic tables).
Proven ability to build semantic models and integrate Snowflake with BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
Hands-on expertise in cloud architecture (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Strong background in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
Proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT patterns.
Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Snowflake migrations & implementations, including legacy warehouse modernisation, schema design, and data optimisation.
Design and deliver semantic data models to enable self-service analytics.
Integrate Snowflake with Power BI and other BI tools for enterprise reporting.
Leverage advanced Snowflake features such as data sharing, marketplace, Snowpark, and performance optimisation.
Drive DevOps & CI/CD practices, including automated testing and infrastructure as code.
Collaborate with cloud architects (Azure, AWS, or GCP) to align with enterprise strategies.
Ensure data governance and security best practices are embedded across platforms.
Engage and advise senior stakeholders on data strategies and project delivery.
