We're looking for a dedicated Practice Manager to join our well-established and highly regarded team in Tamworth.This is a shared leadership role , working alongside an experienced manager to support a large and skilled team that services both small animal general practice and referral caseloads.As a vital member of our leadership team, you'll take on a varied and rewarding role that includes:Overseeing clinic workflow and ensuring smooth day-to-day operationsLeading, mentoring, and inspiring a large, diverse team of veterinary professionalsCoordinating rosters and processing payrollManaging recruitment, onboarding, and providing ongoing staff supportHandling reception and administration responsibilitiesSupporting our after-hours and on-call service coordinationParticipating in hands-on nursing duties, including surgical and medical careWe're seeking someone with:Proven leadership experience and a passion for team developmentStrong organisational and time management skillsConfidence in leading within a high-paced, multifaceted environmentA collaborative and proactive mindsetExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesTech-savviness (RX Works experience is a bonus)A solid understanding of clinic operations and business managementBackground in veterinary nursing is highly desirableWhy you'll love working with us:A long-standing, supportive team of 5 vets and 19 nurses and support staff with diverse and complementary skill setsA combination of small animal GP and referral casesAccess to advanced equipment including CT and fluoroscopyA loyal and growing client baseA training hospital setup including a viewing deck overlooking surgery for educational purposes
