**The Company**
Our client is an innovative premium data centre service provider with a highly customer-centric approach. A highly collaborative, hands-on and proactive ESG Manager is required to lead and coordinate our client's ESG commitments and initiatives and support their ambition to become a leader in their sector.

**The Role**
The ESG Manager will contribute to and lead various elements of the development, execution, measurement and reporting of the company's ESG Strategy. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, other responsibilities will include:

- Working across the business to implement sustainability initiatives and set targets, including with the CEO, Senior Leadership Team and other business partners
- Partner cross-functionally to build sustainability metrics into short and long-term strategic and operational planning to drive world-class environmental and social initiatives across the business, including in product development, supply chain, financing, operations and partner ecosystem.
- Support the embedding of sustainability in the organisational culture and linking sustainability to financial performance of the business and key personnel.
- Continue to lead the existing reporting practices using the GRESB & NGER frameworks, and explore further compliance requirements following other frameworks including SBTi & TCFD, as well as investor, customer and lender reporting.
- Measure and monitor progress against key strategies, objectives and performance targets, including energy use, Scope 1-3 carbon emissions, waste, water, biodiversity impact, employee diversity, governance and community engagements using existing systems or implementing new enterprise systems as needed.
- Continuously research and evaluate evolving ESG trends and legislation; identify risks and opportunities for differentiation and assist with development of policy recommendations.
- Represent the company on ESG matters and manage ESG-related relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, investors, Board, lenders, the community and in professional and public forums.
- Participate in ESG-related industry working groups and committees and attend industry-specific conferences and events.

In addition, you will possess:

- Prior experience in a large corporate or tier 1 consultancy in a similar role
- Experience developing and executing an ESG strategy in a technology or infrastructure environment.
- Demonstrated experience in achieving strong ESG outcomes against recognised benchmarks including GRESB, TCFD, together with the establishment and achievement of ESG and climate-related metrics and targets.
- Current and clear understanding of broad ESG issues, particularly relating to data centres, critical infrastructure and broader tech industry.
- Experience in engaging with ESG stakeholders, including community and customers, lenders and investors, regulators and rating agencies.
- Demonstrated high level written and interpersonal presentation skills appropriate for engaging at executive and board levels and representing the company in engagements with stakeholders.
