We're searching for an experienced Category Lead to join us on our journey to be the trades most valued partner.About the RoleAs Category Lead you'll drive an industry leading product portfolio that gives us a distinct competitive advantage.
You'll be managing stakeholder relationships across our supply chain, which includes our domestic and international suppliers.
Ensuring that the category portfolios are customer led and provide a distinct competitive advantage; undertaking regular range views for optimisation and new product opportunitiesManage supplier relationships and performance, negotiating commercial termsDrive product innovation and development; managing products from concept to launch, collaborating with key stakeholders to bring things to lifeDeveloping industry relationships that ensure exposure to ongoing innovation and disruptionProviding reporting and insights on category portfolios (using Excel and Power BI); analysing results to provide updates on trends and other impactsDevelop procurement plans that enable the efficient supply of productsHaving the customer at the heart of everything you do, helping us build customers for life at ReeceAbout youTo be successful in this role, you will have:Demonstrated experience in a similar category management role, we will also consider related experience in retail, procurement, supply chain and marketingIdeally you will also have had some experience working in B2B environment (trade/distribution customers)Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a passion for mentoring and sharing your knowledge and expertise, and an ability to present and engage audiencesA positive, can-do attitude and an inquisitive nature, with a thirst to understand the Reece business and productsStrong relationship building skills, you'll be working with a number of stakeholders within the business and external vendors and suppliersGood Excel and Power BI skillsReece offers a competitive salary, structured career progression opportunities, hybrid and flexible work arrangements, discounts on our products, EAP services and more.Reece is a place where people make a real difference.
