Our client is a stable, well established and national manufacturer of products supplied to the retail, wholesale and retail manufacturing sectors. **The role**
As Territory Manager your role will be to nurture existing client relationships and develop new prospects.

Duties include:

- Strategic planning and visit existing clients - from Ballina to Canberra
- Arrange your appointments and call cycles - grow sales revenue.
- Develop long term sustainable relationships
- Identify & drive new business opportunities
- Work closely with the new product team regarding new and innovative products for the industry in line with customer feedback
- Securing and managing a portfolio of clients that will ensure sales targets are met or exceeded
- Reporting on the market conditions / trends and competitor activity

**Applicant**
**requirements**:
We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of managing a large territory. You will need to be:

- Commercially astute
- Excellent at managing client relationships
- Someone used to regular travel as part of their job
- time management and organisation skills
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and deadlines
- The ability to implement strategy and continuous improvement projects whilst maintaining effective management of the existing operation
- Experience managing a budget and delivering cost savings targets as directed by the business
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proven ability to communicate well with peers, consultants and customers
- Previous experience in window furnishings would be advantageous but not essential
