Maxima Recruitment Services are currently seeking a Monitoring officer who will assist our Group Training Consultants based in the Maxima office in Hillcrest.

As a team member, you will monitor mainstream GT trainees with Logan and Redland Councils and ensure visits are conducted and recorded.

It is a casual role, full-time hours - Monday to Friday from 8 am - 4 pm.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan an efficient program of scheduled monitoring visits for nominated Australian Apprentices
- Support, mentor and counsel Australian Apprentices and their Supervisors and take appropriate action to resolve identified issues including those related to performance, conduct, training, leave and pay
- Deal with any workplace issues that arise with trainees
- Ensure the trainees complete their coursework
- Liaise with the relevant Registered Training Organisation regarding performance and attendance at training
- Assist Maxima Consultants to refer Australian Apprentices to relevant support services or conduct formal performance management processes where required
- Assist Maxima's Work Health and Safety staff to identify and assess hazards within Host Employer workplaces

**Required Qualifications/Experience**
- Experience using data management systems
- Recent experience in GTO, RTO or similar highly regarded
- Experience evaluating and monitoring work performance
- Current driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Current Police clearance or willing to obtain,
- Current clearance for Working with Children (as per State based legislation) or willing to obtain
