**The Opportunity**

Our Port Kembla Finance team is looking for a **Procurement Team Leader** in our **Procurement**team. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

In this essential role, you will lead a team of procurement specialists and support the efficiency and effectiveness of our Capital and Inventory (spares, consumables and repairs) procurement requirements, and the delivery of sustainable cost control. Supporting our manufacturing operations teams, you will also oversee and ensure the efficiency and compliance of the Capital Procurement process. **What Will You Do?**

Leading and supporting your team, you will work closely with a diverse range of internal teams and external suppliers. You will also be:

- coaching, mentor and develop the team to enhance capabilities
- fostering a positive work culture, of inclusiveness and acceptance
- managing the tender process, ensuring quality tender documentation
- ensuring optimal leverage of purchasing activities for both capital and maintenance requirements
- influencing and partner with key internal and external customers ensuring alignment of procurement initiatives
- prioritising and drive procurement activities to maximise value delivery including savings and cost avoidances

- an analytical approach and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise, identify and address issues effectively
