Procurement Specialist

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist – Capital & Inventory to join our procurement function.

This role is responsible for developing and managing vendor contracts for manufacturing operations, providing strategic guidance for procurement planning, tendering, cost management, and contract administration, while ensuring effective vendor relationships and contract performance.

  • Manage and maintain assigned capital and inventory contracts, ensuring delivery across cost, quality, risk, safety, and environmental outcomes.
  • Build strong supplier relationships to support major projects and inventory optimization.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving and value-creation opportunities.
  • Drive contract and vendor performance through process improvements, benchmarking, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Planning: Develop and manage vendor contracts for manufacturing operations.
  • Seller Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with suppliers to support major projects and inventory optimization.
  • Cost Management: Identify and implement cost-saving and value-creation opportunities.
  • Vendor Performance Management: Drive contract and vendor performance through process improvements, benchmarking, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or contract management.
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills with a focus on value creation.
  • Experience with capital procurement processes and vendor negotiations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems such as SAP.
