**As Manager of the Financial Governance and Operations team, you will:

- drive development and implementation of financial management and accounting policies and procedures, along with effectively communicating and working with the internal stakeholders to deliver required training programs.
- co-ordinate the assurance activities as part of the agency's financial internal control framework and as required for the Chief Finance Officer (CFO).
- guide the team to develop and implement key frameworks, policies and processes to ensure that an appropriate Financial Internal Control Framework is
effectively and efficiently implemented and maintained.
- lead a team to provide financial operational functions including but not limited to the payment of Queensland Foster Carers, approval of master data, corporate card coordination, travel, petty cash, on time payments.
- You will deliver high level strategic financial management and advisory services.
