**About the Role**:
We're looking for a passionate and organised Respite Team Leader to join our growing team. In this casual role, you'll oversee the day-to-day delivery of respite support, mentor a team of workers, and ensure high-quality, person-centred care. You'll be responsible for staff supervision, participant safety, booking management, and ensuring compliance with NDIS standards.

This role includes participation in the on-call roster, with above-award passive sleepover rates and flexible hours including evenings and weekends. You'll be supported by a dedicated management team and work in a collaborative, friendly environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and support a team of respite workers
- Manage daily routines, shift coverage, and participant bookings
- Ensure all support is delivered in line with participant plans and NDIS requirements
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and staff development
- Liaise with families, support coordinators, and internal teams
- Maintain documentation, incident reporting, and risk management processes
- Provide after-hours support as part of the on-call rotation

**What You'll Need**:

- Minimum 1 year experience in a leadership or senior support role
- Knowledge of NDIS, person-centred care, and respite service delivery
- Ability to manage rosters, motivate staff, and solve problems on the fly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong documentation, time management, and delegation skills

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent experience (highly desirable)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- SA Driver's Licence and insured vehicle
- NDIS Orientation Module (or willingness to complete)
- Medication Administration & Infection Control (or willingness to obtain)
